If there is interest from the membership to pursue the event the committee chair selects a volunteer to chair the event.  The event chair is responsible for coordinating planning, execution, and reporting on the event/project.  The committee chair also adds the event to the Makersmiths calendar (https://makersmiths.org/events) with the prefix "Event:" and a description of what we are doing at the event.

The committee chair adds the event to the Makersmiths Master Calendar https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=makersmiths.org_cu3d7lcdt3cjuchjvthgg1q6d0%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America%2FNew_York

The event chair works with the committee chair to define the event and start a wiki page for the event <template TBD>.  The page documents all relevant links, points of contact, description, and other information relevant to the overall event.
