Reviewed proposed changes in the "Consolidated" documents.  Prior to the meeting, Jim Waldron took the tracked changes in the "FOR REVIEW" documents (draft version of proposed changes to the Bylaws and Standing Rules) and created a new set of documents, named "Consolidated," with the tracked changes accepted and the major changes highlighted for easier reading.

Reviewed new items in the Canvas on the #rules-and-bylaws-review channel:

1) Bylaws 6.13.1- Voluntary Resignation

• Revised text to Section 6.13.1, consistent with what we are currently doing.
• ==> DONE. PROPOSED CHANGE NEEDS TO BE APPROVED BY BOARD

2) Bylaws 6.9 - Direct proxy method text is confusing

• The way Section 6.9 is written is confusing.  The term "reasonable accommodations" generally refers to ADA policies.
• Recommend reverting to the previous language regarding proxies.
• ==> DONE. PROPOSED CHANGE NEEDS TO BE APPROVED BY BOARD

All Canvas items have been reviewed.  Proposed changes are ready to be reviewed and approved by the Board. 

Jen will submit a motion for the next Board meeting to approve the proposed changes to the bylaws and standing rules.

The committee does not plan to have a meeting next month unless the Board refers an item back to the committee and/or additional items are added to the Canvas list.
