  • Any volunteer to work this?  Do we have a tractor, someone who can drive it, that can tow the train and a way to transport the train?
  • If we participate can we talk to Joshua's hands about splitting donations on the cow train?  Would help to cover cost of transport and operation (gas)

    We will have a table from 11:30 to 1:30 at the event happening at the Sterling NOVA campus. Need a volunteer to staff the table and talk with people. Contact Pat Scannel if you can volunteer

    10/13Boo at the Zoo

    The Arc of Northern Shenandoah will provide tractor and driver. Diane will man the barrel train waiting lines. Need a table monitor to tell visitors about Makersmiths. Mark Millsap will help transporting the barrel cars to and from Wilson's Wild Animal Park. This is a fabulous family event.     Nov 3Wind Energy WorkshopThe Center for Wind Energy at James Madison University (JMU) and Makersmiths, Inc. are partnering to present this introductory KidWind hands-on workshop at Makersmiths for the purpose of learning about wind energy, how windmills and generators work, which blades work best and how we can design and construct better blades. This event should attract children of MS members, scouts, 4H, home-school students, etc. to both MS locations. See the Makersmiths calendar for morning and afternoon sessions.
