Type

Location

The Leesburg pressure washer is stored underneath the slop sink in the back of the building in the room with the dust collector.

The Purcellville pressure washer is stored in the Frame/Laser Shop in the Lower Building at Purcellville.

Both have the pressure washer unit, gun, hose to go between gun and pressure washer, hose to go between pressure washer and water outlet, two sprayer nozzles, and other associated parts.  

Setup and Use

Leesburg

  • The pressure washer in Leesburg can be used in the slop sink or outside the back door of the facility.  
  • Both the hose that will be used between the pressure washer and the water supply is located under the sink in a bucket.
  • Attach one end of the hose to the hookup underneath the sink and the other end of the hose to the pressure washer.
  • Turn on the water supply by turning the white handle so that it is in line with the hose.  The photo shows the water supply in the OFF position.
  • Plug the pressure washer into the wall outlet in the slop sink room.
  • Attach the hose between the pressure washer and the spray gun.
  • ONLY THEN do you turn on the pressure washer.  Turning on the pressure washer without the supply hose or the spray gun hose attached can lead to water everywhere and/or the premature failure of the pressure washer.  
    • Note that there will be more than one spray gun available at some point.  The long or short gun can be used. 
  • Put the pressure washer and hose away when you are done using them

Purcellville

  • The pressure washer in Purcellville can be attached to the water supply near the back door on the upper building.
  • Both the hose and the pressure washer are kept in the Frame/Laser Room in the lower building.
  • Attach one end of the hose to the water supply on the building and the other end of the hose to the pressure washer.
  • Turn on the water supply by turning the knob. 
  • Plug the pressure washer into the wall outlet in the bathroom or kitchen area.
  • Attach the hose between the pressure washer and the spray gun.
  • ONLY THEN do you turn on the pressure washer.  Turning on the pressure washer without the supply hose or the spray gun hose attached can lead to water everywhere and/or the premature failure of the pressure washer.  
  • Put the pressure washer and hose away when you are done using them
