NB2: Pressure washer for Laser beds (Jonathan)
Issue: Cleaning the honeycomb beds for the CO2 lasers is difficult without a hose/pressure washer. Screen printing at Leesburg, the side of the green room in Purcellville, and other parts of both locations would benefit from the availability of a pressure sprayer.
Solution:Purchase two small electric pressure washers, one for each location, and accompanying hoses. Pressure washer in Leesburg will be stored either in the metal shop, print shop, or dust/slop sink room. Pressure washer in Purcellville will be stored in the lower classroom bathroom or frame shop. It doesn’t require a board motion to change where the unit is stored, so these are just the initial suggestion. The unit to purchase are either https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-1900-PSI-1-2-GPM-Cold-Water-Wheeled-Corded-Electric-Pressure-Washer-RY1419MT/311223300 or https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-2100-PSI-1-2-GPM-Cold-Water-Corded-Electric-Pressure-Washer-with-Foamer-RY142012/337573998 TBD..

Open Discussion
Discuss a plan for member communications around cleaning up, reporting issues etc. as angry posts in Slack aren't going to reach everyone. Perhaps renewed "Anonymously report an issue" signs, short emails to Members in addition to info in the newsletter, new signs about everyone being volunteers/no one being paid to clean up others mess. Reminder that Membership can be revoked for repeated issues. Shouldn't be hard to do some or all of the above.
Suggestions:
Checklist in each shop.
Someone making a mess is directed (perhaps by Steward or other person) to attend the next workday.
Renewed signage. (Failure to clean up can result in <some consequence>!) (Video recording in progress.)
Email to all members.
President will talk with Stewards and others to implement some of these ideas.
