Issue: We currently do not have enough equipment in the Ceramics Shop to run some of the classes we would like to offer.
Solution: Bo Wernick (Ceramics Steward) has provided a list of equipment to purchase for the Ceramics Shop. It is as follows:
3 Clay Boss Wheels $2964, currently on sale for $988 each ($290.00 off) and ship for free.
1 Slab Roller, Shimpo SRM-1624 $586.30, currently on sale ($103.70 off), shipping $45.41
1 Extruder with die set $585.89, current on sale ($65.10 off)
Grand total: $4181.60 (Assuming no changes in price between now and purchase)
Relevance to Tax Exempt Status: None
Motion: Move to purchase the equipment as requested by Bo Wernick with the total purchase not to exceed $5000. Funds to be sourced from the equipment account.
